Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, who was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984, is among Ireland's richest and most famous comedians. The comedian appeared alongside Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling O'Sullivan is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish actor and comedian. Following appearances in bits on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea began her career as a stand-up comedy performer in the year 2011. In 2012, she started to appear regularly on sitcoms and sketch programs. Following her win of the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was scheduled for a panel show where she is now regularly appearing on. She was Captain of team 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was frequent contestant in the show's spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the daughter of Brian the late Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister named Sinead. She was the second woman ever to receive the So You Think You're Funny Award in the year 2012. The surname she uses is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born Mar 16, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who took himself when Bea was only three years old however she was never told how he died until she was 13. In honor of her father's memory, she took the stage name Bea and in 2017, published an article about suicides that affected her family to The Guardian. Bea together with her sister Sinead were born by Helen Moloney (nee Moloney) as a former jockey and teacher in a secondary school. The family was obsessed with races and horses. Bea worked as a guide at The Irish National Stud in her early years. But she was aware, that racing wasn't what she wanted to pursue as a profession and preferred performing.
