Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is among Ireland's wealthiest and famous comedians. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) more popularly known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish actor, writer, and comedian. Bea started her stand-up career in 2011, having appeared in bits on various Irish television shows and British shows since the year the year 2009. By 2012 she was regularly being featured on sketch comedy programs and sitcoms. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a variety of panel show, which she's now frequent. In 2016 through 2017, she was a team captain of 8 Out of 10 Cats and is a frequent contestant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. She was in 2012 the only woman in history to be awarded the So You Think You're Funny award. Bea is her last name to honor her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadh-Sullivan was born on the 16th of March, 1984 from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian took his life at age three. He was an equine veterinary. Bea wasn't told the details of how he passed to death until she was 13 years old. In order to pay tribute to her father's memory, she took the stage-name Bea and in 2017, wrote an article about suicides and deaths that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher who was a jockey trainer. She also worked as a professional jockey. They were all obsessed with horses and race meetings. Bea began her career as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the racing industry wasn't the right fit for her.
