Heidi Klum was conceived in Bergisch Gladbach in Germany in June of 1973. Erna the mother of Heidi was a stylist. Gunther Klum was a director of a cosmetics company. Heidi's Father was previously a Production Manager for the fragrance firm 4711. In Bergisch Gladbach she was born and was raised. Bergisch Gladbach is only six miles from Cologne. The German-American former fashion model has become a TV host and producer of fashion designers, businesswoman and actress, who lives and works in both southern California as well as Germany.
